Support Support HYPERPLANNING
  • What are the main steps of the implementation? (non-hosted mode)

First step: download the applications

Go to the application download page HYPERPLANNING > Downloads > Download HYPERPLANNING and download the necessary applications:
  • The Client is the application from which users modify the data. It can be installed on the user's local drive or on a shared drive.
  • It must be connected to the Controller  and to the Server .
  • If you want to publish online user Webspaces or on the mobile application you will need the HYPERPLANNING.net .
  • HYPERPLANNING.data is a complementary application that allows you to manage automatic imports and exports instead of the Server.
  • The Service Web is a complementary application that allows to exchange data with other computer programs independently of the platforms and languages used.
  • To operate the applications from another computer other than the one on which the application is installed on, you must download the corresponding remote administration application: Administration of CONTROLLER , Administration of SERVER , Administration of .NET , Administration of WEB SERVICE , Administration of HYPERPLANNING.data .

Second step: put a schedule into operation

  1. The Controller must be activated manually the first time. It then starts automatically when the computer is started, as a Windows service.
  2. Create a schedule which allows to link the database to the list of users from the controller.
  3. From the application Administration of server , put a schedule in operation and allocate the users.

Third step: deploy the Clients

  1. Install the client :
  2. Configure the client for it to connect:
    • to the controller when all published schedules depend on the same controller or
    • to the server when published schedules depend on different controllers, or when you don't want the user to have access to all schedules.
