  • Use a course model

A course model allows you to define a number of characteristics that will be automatically allocated to courses built from this model. This saves time when entering data when a number of courses have to have the same characteristics.

Step One: Create a course model

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > Course > Course model.
  2. Tick on the creation line, enter a designation and validate with the key Enter.
  3. In the tab Course's characteristics, enter the characteristics that the courses created with this model will have by default.

  1. In the tab Unavailability and wishes, you can indicate slots in which the courses created from the model cannot be placed. For example, you can prohibit the placement of lectures after 4pm. The unavailability may be modified at any time, on all or part of the courses, in Schedules > Courses  > Unavailability.

Second step: use a course model

When you create a course (by tracing in the grid or a schedule and   or from the list of courses via the command Edit > Create a course or when reserving a room or during the creation of the courses from the curriculum), you can select a course model. The course inherits the properties defined for this model; you can then modify them if you wish.
