  • Pre-incoming year: do I need to enter the provisional population at ETM (MEF) level or at the class level?

To calculate your provisional requirements, you need to enter an estimate of your population for the incoming year. Depending on the information in your possession at the time of calculation, you can enter the ETM (MEF) population, or the ETM (MEF) population, followed by the classes (a more precise estimate, but one that requires more information).

If you have enough information to calculate provisional requirements based on class populations, please enter ETM (MEF) populations in advance: as provisional classes inherit services from the ETM (MEF), you'll save time when entering the population per class.

A breakdown of the population at class level is necessary to distribute the students and generate the courses from Pre-incoming year: sif you have calculated your needs and then developed the DTMD (TRMD) on the basis of ETM (MEF) numbers, there's nothing to stop you from specifying provisional needs by class at a later stage, for example, when you have gathered all the necessary information at the end of the year.

Enter the expected number of students per service at an ETM (MEF) level

  1. Go to the display Pre-incoming year > ETM > Services.
  2. Refresh the provisional population for each class; if a class includes students from several ETM, click in the column ETM, then detail the provisional population for each ETM.

  3. If necessary, modify the provisional population on a service-by-service basis.

A population in red indicates a difference between the populations: a class total that does not correspond to the sum of the population per ETM, or a ETM population that differs from the populations in the classes.
