Next Academic Year: do I need to enter the projected population at ETM (MEF) level or at the class level?
To calculate your projected requirements, you need to enter an estimate of your population for the incoming year. Depending on the information in your possession at the time of calculation, you can enter the TM (MEF) population, or the TM (MEF) population, followed by the classes (a more precise estimate, but one that requires more information).
If you have enough information to calculate projected requirements based on class populations, please enter TM (MEF) populations in advance: as projected classes inherit Teaching Plans from the TM (MEF), you'll save time when entering the population per class.
A breakdown of the population at class level is necessary to distribute the students and generate the courses from Next Academic Year: if you have calculated your requirements and then developed the TRAT (TRMD) on the basis of TM (MEF) numbers, there's nothing to stop you from specifying projected requirements by class at a later stage, for example, when you have gathered all the necessary information at the end of the year.
Enter the expected number of students per Teaching Plan at an TM (MEF) level
- Go to the display Next Academic Year > TM >
Teaching Plans. - Refresh the projected population for each class; if a class includes students from several TM, click in the column TM, then detail the projected population for each TM.
- If necessary, modify the projected population on a Teaching Plan-by-Teaching Plan basis.
A population in red indicates a difference between the populations: a class total that does not correspond to the sum of the projected per TM, or a TM population that differs from the populations in the classes.
