Generate specialization groups

Once you have generated the programs, automatically generate the specialization groups: the groups, class parts and their links are created in such a way that a student can follow his or her three specializations whatever the class. Once the groups and their alignments have been defined, allocate resources to the groups/classes, then try to optimize the number of classes per group.
Step 1: Generate the required number of groups
- Go to the display Timetable > Specializations >

Generation of the specialization groups. - In the panel Needs for groups per subject, double-click in the columns Min. pop. and Max. pop. to modify the minimum/maximum population of the groups for each subject.
By clicking on the icon in column No. Gr. you can customize the minimum and maximum population for each group. - Select the distribution mode By distributing the groups in X alignments, the click on the button Generate the necessary groups: the list of required groups is displayed on the right of the screen, with the planned alignment indicated in the corresponding column.

Step 2: Finalize the generation of the groups
- Go to the display Timetable > Specializations >

Generation of the specialization groups. - In the panel Necessary groups, indicate the teachers in the corresponding column.
 - Go to the display Timetable > Students>
List, sort the list according to the criterion of your choice, select the students to be grouped in the same class, right-click and select the command Modify > Class. - Go to the display Timetable > Specializations >

Generation of the specialization groups, then click on the button Limit the number of classes per group. - On the bottom right, click on the button Assign the students to the groups according to their choice of electives: a confirmation window appears, click on Yes.
