How do I create a lesson with class meetings on different time slots?
This is the way to create a lesson by allocating a time slot directly to it. It allows you to copy an independently created timetable or to place one-off events on the grid. The creation of a lesson from the multi-week schedule (and the multi-week general schedule) works the same way from the tab Resources, but with a different resource depending on the chosen display. The lesson can be drafted in the grid of any of its resources: teacher, class, groupings or room.
On a schedule grid, you usually trace the lesson, class meeting by class meeting. The lesson can be held several times a week, the place can change every week, etc. If the place of the lesson does not change from week to week, it may be more comfortable to create the lesson directly in the timetable grid.

First step: Create the lesson
Create the first class meeting
- Go to the display Schedule > Subjects/Teachers/Classes/Students/Rooms/Lessons/Groupings >
Multi-week schedule. - Select the resource in the list.
- On the slider Active period, activate the weeks you want to see.
- Click and drag on the grid to trace a first class meeting: a green frame is displayed; this is the matrix of the class meeting, which materializes its duration. You can move and/or resize this matrix.
To create several class meetings of the same lesson in the same time slot, click and drag while holding down the key Shift. The color of the numbers serves as an indication. - Double-click in the center of the green frame to confirm the creation of the class meeting. If the lesson models have been created, PRONOTE Campus proposes to use one: choose a model or None in the drop-down menu.
- The class meeting contains the resource selected from the list. Specify the subject and add the other resources from the lesson form.
Duplicate the class meeting
For s class meetings of the same lesson that need to be placed in a different time slot:
- Select the first class meeting you've already created, then duplicate it.
- Group the class meetings in the same lesson: go to the display Schedules > Lesson >
List, select all the lessons to be grouped, then right-click and choose Group the selected lessons. - Repeat the procedure as many times as necessary to place all lessons in the active period.
You can zoom in on the multi-week schedule. To do this, hold down the key [Ctrl] on your keyboard and use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out on the grid.
Second step: Complete the lesson form
- If it is no longer visible, select the lesson(s) you want to describe to make the lesson form appear: it only contains the resource of the timetable on which you created the lesson.
- Click on the button
to replace Subject to be specified by the subject of the lesson. - In the pop-up window, choose the subject; you can limit the proposals by:
- limiting the search to extracted subjects,
- modulating the taking into account of the constraints,
- selecting the rubrics of the families created by you,
- modifying the grouping in the list.
- Then add the other resources (teacher, class or tutorial/option): to do this, click on the button
that appears when you position the cursor on the type of resource. - In the pop-up window, select the resource you want to add, in addition to the filter options available for subjects you can:
- For teachers: add a criterion of presence in the institution, of belonging or not to the students' pedagogical team, of teaching or not teaching the subject.
- For rooms: override reservation requests, hide rooms with limited access.
