  • Verify the digital signature

You can perform various actions on a digital signature list: verify signatures, correct an attendance status, extend a signature delay, or generate a roll call sheet.

1. Complete the digital signature

The action Verify allows you to complete the verification of signatures for a course.
  1. Go to the display Assiduity > Digital signature > Supervision per class meeting.
  2. From the list on the left, select the concerned class meeting.
  3. Click on the button Verify.
  4. In the pop-up window: confirm the action.

  5. Once the verification is complete, the column Status displays the status Verified.

    Note
This status is not updated immediately. It may take some time for the column Status to be updated.

2. Invalidate a signature

If you believe a signature is unacceptable, you can invalidate it. This action allows you to select a motive for invalidation, set a new delay for signing, and notify the student so they can sign again.
  1. Go to the display Assiduity > Digital signature > Supervision per class meeting.
  2. From the list on the left, select the concerned class meeting. On the right, you'll see the signatures of the teacher and the students.
  3. Select the concerned teacher/student, then click on Invalidate the signature.
  4. A new window will open: select the motive for invalidation. If the motive is not listed, click the button to add it.
  5. If necessary, adjust the time limit given to the student to provide a new signature.
  6. Tick Send a notification to notify the signatory that a new signature is required.
  7. Validate.

3. Extend the delay for signing

You can grant a student an extension to sign after the initial deadline has passed. This allows the student to sign if they did not have access to their phone or encountered a temporary obstacle, for example.
  1. Go to the display Assiduity > Digital signature > Supervision per class meeting.
  2. From the list on the left, select the concerned class meeting. On the right, select the concerned student.
  3. Click on the button Extend the delay.
  4. A new window will open: select the motive for the extension. If the motive cannot be found, click the button to add it.
  5. If necessary, adjust the time limit given to the student to provide a new signature.
  6. Tick Send a notification to notify the signatory that a new signature is required.
  7. Validate.
