  • Pre-incoming year: why enter the maximum number of students expected per structure?

By specifying the maximum number of students expected per structure (class or group), you can automatically calculate the number of groups required per subject, based on the provisional number of students entered.

This information can be entered progressively (default value applied to the whole institution, then specified by subject and according to the specific features of each ETM).

Enter the maximum number of students expected in full a class/reduced population by default

  1. Go to the display Pre-incoming year > Subjects >  List.
  2. Click on the button  at the top of the list.
  3. In the pop-up window, enter the maximum number of students for full and reduced class: these values apply to all the concerned displays. (column Stud./Cl. and column Stud./Red.).

The button  also exists in display Pre-incoming year > ETM > Services (the configuration is exactly the same: it just allows you to readjust these values without having to go back to the list of subjects).

Enter the maximum number of students expected in a full class/reduced population per subject

  1. Go to the display Pre-incoming year > Subjects >  List.
  2. If necessary, modify the number of students expected in reduced population for certain subjects by double-clicking in the column Stud./Red. (subject specialization "Numeric and Computer Science" limited by the number of computer workstations available on site, e.g.).

Enter the maximum number of students expected in a full class/reduced population

MEF level

  1. Go to the display Pre-incoming year > ETM >  Services.
  2. Eventually modify the maximum number of students expected per class by double-clicking directly in the column Stud./Cl. (16 students max in a SEGPA class, for example).

  3. Eventually modify the maximum number of students expected in reduced population for each service by double-clicking directly in the column El./ Réd. (reduced population personalized for the French courses of a UPE2A class, for example).
