How are meetings generated, depending on the subjects and options checked?
When organizing parent-teacher meetings, certain specific rules apply when subjects are excluded from the selection filters.
If a teacher teaches several subjects - for example math, physics and class animation - and one of these subjects is excluded from the filter:
- If the subject Class animation is excluded, then it is ignored in the calculation for meetings.
- If the option Most taught subject is selected, the meeting is generated for the subject with the highest hourly volume.
- If the option All the taught subjects is selected, a single meeting is generated, covering all subjects.
If a teacher does not have a preferential subject and the option Preferential subject is selected: a meeting is generated using the most frequently taught subject.
If the teacher's preferential subject is excluded and he/she teaches no other subject: if this subject is the only one taught by the teacher, a meeting without a subject label is generated, so as not to exclude any meetings that may be wanted.
