Connecting a Client EDT to PRONOTE
To connect a Client EDT to PRONOTE, you must have the same version of EDT and PRONOTE for the same number of teachers. You must also have the right to connect EDT-PRONOTE: this is included by default in the EDT Network license, but must be purchased if you have EDT Single-user.
- If you don't already have the Client EDT, download it from our website and install it.
- When the Client EDT is launched, click on the button Add the address of a new server.
- In the pop-up window, enter the IP address and TCP port of the PRONOTE server (you'll find them in the Hosting console, panel Client).
In hosted PRONOTE version, you can enter this information directly if you know the institution's RNE (IP address = RNE.index-education.net, TCP port = 49300). - Click on Validate: a connection button appears, enabling connection to the PRONOTE base, which becomes a common base.
