Assign replacements in the same place
The replacement allocation table allows you to organize all replacements week by week. To organize a replacement, you must have entered the teacher's absence beforehand in Daily management and absences > Teachers > Entry of absences and replacements.
If you are working on an Client EDT connected to the PRONOTE base, you can suggest direct replacements to possible substitutes. It is always you who validates the assignment of a replacement.

1. Authorize the teachers to volunteer for replacements
To authorize teachers to volunteer, you must configure the corresponding authorization:
- either in a Client EDT connected to a PRONOTE base (display Timetable > Teachers >
Teachers' authorization profile). - or in a Client PRONOTE (display Resources > Teachers >
Authorization profiles).
The time slots on which a volunteer teacher has positioned themselves appear with specific icons:

2. Filter the absences to be processed
- Select the concerned period from the drop-down menu at the top left of the display. All courses canceled due to absence are displayed in the table.
- In the list on the left, filter by types of courses to be processed.
You can also filter which courses to process by teacher. - Then filter the proposed teachers according to your criteria; for example, in the context of the PACTE teacher program, click on the button in the rubric Mission members and only tick the wanted missions in the pop-up window.
By ticking Only if there are unassigned commitment hours remaining, you can only look for replacements who have not already completed all their mission hours STR (RCD).- Click on the button Refresh the table located below the filters: the table on the right of the screen updates.
- All the teachers with the icon
will be the recipients of your replacement proposal; possibly un-tick the corresponding box for some of them.
Select several teachers and compare their timetables to help you make choices. Right-click on the replacement box, then View the timetable.

then Publish the requests on the Teachers Webspaces for the X selected courses.- Once the request is sent, the icon disappears. A new icon representing the chosen sending option appears; hover your mouse over it to see the option and sending date.
Replacement requests posted on the Teachers Webspace are visible on the PRONOTE teachers' dashboard, in a dedicated widget. When you send a request via PRONOTE, the icon
appears. The teacher's answer is also displayed on the location of this icon:
if the request is accepted,
if the request is refused. To find out when the teacher responded, hover over the icon.
You are also notified of the latest teacher feedback from the icon R dedicated to replacements, at the top right of your home page. - Once the answers are received, assign the replacement by ticking the box to the right of the column; you can filter teacher responses using the options in the rubrics Replacement proposals.
- If the replacement is within the framework of a mission, select this assignment from the drop-down menu, then click on Yes.
To view the number of hours completed for a mission, go to the display Daily management and absences > Teachers > Summary of performed hourly volumes.
