Enter a class absence (field trip)
The absences of classes are entered from EDT; they have repercussions on the timetable. When a class is entered as absent, its courses are canceled; the room and teacher become available.
- Go to the display Daily management and absences > Classes >
Entry of absences.
- Select a class from the list on the left.
- Select the concerned week(s) using the multi-selection slider at the bottom.
- Select the motive for the absence from the drop-down menu above the grid.
- Click and drag on the time slots where the class is absent: they are displayed in the color of the motive. To reduce or delete the absence, click and drag again on these slots.
- A line summarizing the absence appears at the bottom of the screen:
- If it's an outing, click in column Chaperone to specify the teachers and/or staff involved: their absence will automatically be taken into account and their courses cancelled.
If a teacher or staff member is entered as a chaperone from the display Daily management and absences > Classes >Entry of absences, the pedagogical outings are posted on the timetable and indicated by a single block.
- If the Client EDT is connected to a PRONOTE base, in cases where the outing overlaps or adjoins a meal, you can indicate that meals are not to be scheduled: double-click in the column Noon (and/or Evening if the institution offers full board) to show a red cross.
- If it's an outing, click in column Chaperone to specify the teachers and/or staff involved: their absence will automatically be taken into account and their courses cancelled.
