  • How do you get students to change groups every week?

You can create courses with the option Manage as groups with a variable population. This option lets you generate groups whose students can then be modified on a weekly basis (for personalized accompaniment, for example).
  1. Create a course with all teachers and classes working in parallel.

All the groups created will be a variable population. This is not a problem if, for certain groups, the population never varies: simply define the list of students as valid until the end of the year.
  2. Open the course specification window with the shortcut Ctrl + R and specify subjects, classes, etc., per teacher. If class meetings are to be counted as part of personalized accompaniment, choose subjects labeled PA.
  3. Tick Manage as groups with a variable population and choose the distribution mode.
  4. The class meetings are displayed with the icon . Groups whose students can be modified are created; they are displayed in the list of groups with the icon .

It is possible to create a personalized accompaniment course with a single teacher. To do this, open the specification window in the same way as for a complex course with several class meetings, and tick the option Manage as groups with a variable population and select One class meeting per teacher.
