Distribute the rooms of the groups in the courses
If you have allocated room groups to courses, you now need to distribute the rooms in the group to the courses for which you have reserved this group. Beforehand, make sure that all rooms are linked to room groups, that groups are allocated to courses, and that timetables are completed with all courses placed on the grids.
- Launch the automatic room distribution: from the display Timetable > Rooms >
Room group management, select a room group, then click on the button Distribute the courses in the rooms.
EDT takes into account:
- the order of rooms in the group;
- limiting teacher or class movements, by trying to always allocate the same room to one or the other, depending on the option selected;
- the preferential room of the teachers and classes (column Pref. Rm. in the list of teachers and classes).
- Optimize the distribution: click on the button Optimize room distribution and in the pop-up window, select your optimization criteria.
