  How do I authorize placement on optional unavailability?

Go to the menu Calculation > Launch the automatic solver.

If any courses remain unsuccessful after placement and a first pass of the automatic solver, you can relaunch it by authorizing placement on optional unavailability (in orange): in the frame Search options, tick the resources for which you want the calculator to ignore optional unavailability (unavailability entered in red will always be complied with).
