Modify the automatic safeguard/archiving settings
Automatic safeguards and archives are saved in the same folder as the base from which they originate. By default, a safeguard is made every hour, and an archive is generated once a day and kept for a maximum of 15 days. You can modify these configurations if you wish.
Modify the automatic safeguarding settings
- Open the Server interface, then unlock access: click on the button
in the top right-hand corner of the screen, then enter your username and password.
- Click on the panel Safeguards and archives.
- Click on the drop-down menu to modify the time between two safeguards (1hr; 2hr; 4hr; 6hr; 12hr; 24hr).
- If you want to designate a folder different than the default folder, click on the button
, then indicate the folder in the file explorer.
If possible, use a physical workstation other than the one where the database is stored. Today's safeguards overwrite those of the previous day.
