Modify the automatic safeguard/archive configuration

Automatic safeguards and archives are saved in the same folder as the database from which they originate. By default, a safeguard is made every hour, and an archive is generated once a day and stored for a maximum of 15 days. If you wish, you can modify these configurations.
Configure the saving of safeguards
- Go to the menu Parameters > Options > Safeguard and archiving.
 - Leave the option Activate automatic safeguard ticked.
 - Click on the drop-down menu to modify the time between two safeguards (5 min; 10 min; 30 min; 1hr).
Unlike the archive folder, the safeguards folder cannot be modified.
Configure the saving of archives
- Go to the menu Parameters > Options > Safeguard and archiving.
 - Leave the option Activate base archiving ticked.
 - Define when archiving is to take place: every time the database is opened/every day when it is first opened/or at a set time.
 - Tick Photos and/or Sent mail if you want to include this data in the base.
 - If you wish to designate a different folder than the one selected by default, click on Browse and then designate the folder via File Explorer.
 - To modify the maximum number of bases kept in the folder, enter a numerical value in the field provided (this value cannot be greater than 30).
