Create the timetables for teaching assistants (AESH (assistants for students with disabilities), etc.)
There are three steps to creating a teaching assistant's timetable: you designate the staff member concerned as a teaching assistant, assign him/her to the students he/she accompanies, and then assign him/her to the students' courses. With PRONOTE, the teaching assistants consult their timetable on the Teaching Assistants Webspace (they do not use the Client to connect).
Step 1: Designate a staff member as a teaching assistant
- Go to the display Timetable > Staff >
Information form.
- Select the staff member and click on the button
in the rubric Identity to enter edit mode.
- In the drop-down menu Job function, select AESH (assistants for students with disabilities) or AVS, then Validate.
To enter a different designation other than AESH or AVS, click on the buttonnext to the drop-down menu Job function, click on New to enter the designation, then select Teaching assistant.
Step 2: Enter the teaching assistant accompanying a student
- Go to the display Timetable > Students >
List.
- Double-click in the column Teaching assistants. If you don't see this column, click on the button
at the top right of the list to display it.
- In the pop-up window, select the teaching assistant and validate. Only staff designated as teaching assistants (see step 1) are proposed.
Step 3: Allocate the AVS or AESH to the courses of the student he/she accompanies
- Go to the display Timetable > Classes >
Timetable or Timetable > Course >
List.
- Select the concerned courses, right-click and choose Modify > Assign the students' teaching assistants to the selected courses.
