What's the point of assigning a teachers' preferential room?

If a teacher's preferential room is entered, it is assigned by default to lessons created in the display Timetable > Lesson > List. You can also allocate it from the same display by selecting the concerned lessons and then using the right-click (command Modify > Allocate the teachers' preferential room to the selected lessons).
