  What happens if I place a lesson on a slot that's not free?

Two lessons cannot be manually placed on the same slot. If you place a lesson in a slot already occupied by another lesson, the latter is de-positioned according to the option of your choice:

• By de-positioning the other lesson: the lesson is de-positioned - you can find it in the display Timetable > Lesson > List.
• By placing the other lessons on hold: the lesson is de-positioned and set aside in the window Pending (to display this window, tick the corresponding box in the top right-hand corner - the pending lessons can be moved directly on the grid from this window by click and drag).
  
  
  
  
  The lesson put on hold during manipulations on the grids are identifiable in the list of lessons thanks to the icon .
• By adjusting the place: the de-position lesson is automatically re-positioned elsewhere on the grid (you can then extend the slot search to include optional unavailability - the slots "painted" yellow on the timetable).

If you want to place two lessons on the same time slot because they must take place at the same time you must create a complex lesson .
