  What are weightings for?

Calculating weighted hours

By activating the weighted hours calculation option, the actual total will differ from the one displayed: the weighted hours total is calculated within the regulatory ceilings for first chair hours as per Decree n°2014-940.

Weighting annual lessons

1. 1. Go to the tab Timetable > Lesson >  List.
   2. Select the weighted lessons in the same way, right-click and choose Modify > Weighting.
   3. In the pop-up window, select the wanted weighting; if necessary, create a new one.

Weight the occasional lessons (modified lessons, exceptional lessons, etc.)

1. 1. Go to the tab Daily management and absences > Lesson >  List.
   2. On the slider, highlight the week(s) of the lesson(s) whose weighting you wish to change.
   3. You can click on the column Nature to sort lessons and quickly find those marked Occasional.
   4. Double-click in the column Weighting.
   5. In the pop-up window, double-click on the wanted weighting.

Weight the lessons with STSWEB-compliant weights

The weightings conform to STSWEB are recovered when you establish the matches with STSWEB (STSWEB (import)).

3. 1. Go to the tab Timetable > Lesson >  List.
   2. Select the weighted lessons in the same way, right-click and choose Modify > Weighting.
   3. In the pop-up window, tick Compliant with STWEB.
      
      
      
      
   4. Double-click on the weighting to be allocated.

4. 1. Go to the tab Timetable > Lesson >  List.
   2. In the menu Extract, choose Extract the lessons concerned by the first chair.

Deactivate the taking into account of regulatory limits

By default, EDT calculates weighted hours within the regulatory limits (decree D.2014-940-941). Deactivate this option if you prefer to find in the Student Administration teacher of the teacher the actual total of weighted hours.
