  • What is the Relay EDT used for, and how do I install it?

The Relay enables Clients to access the Server without directly accessing the machine hosting the Server.

Install the Relay EDT

  1. Download the Relay from the Index Education website and follow the installation instructions.
  2. Connect the Relay to the Server (it must be in service): in the Relay, panel Choice of Server, enter the IP address and TCP port shown in the panel Publication parameters of the Server, then click on the button Connect.



  3. Connect the Clients to the Relay: from the Client home screen, click on the button Add the address of a new server. Instead of adding the Server information, enter the Relay's IP address and TCP port: this information appears in panel Publication parameters of the Relay.
