  • How does the update of Server EDT and Clients EDT work during the year?

Since version 2013, Index Education applications update automatically via a Windows Service present on the machine. For this update to work, the machine must have free access to the Internet. In busy periods, this update may take several attempts (temporary server overload, bandwidth saturation). For Clients, the update is only available if your Server has already been updated.

If your software fails to update, you can consult an event log to find out the cause of the problem. To access it, launch the command Configuration > Update from your software and click on the button View the update service log. If you contact Index Education's support service, the contents of this log will make it easier to analyze the problem, find the cause and propose a satisfactory solution.
