Authorize the access to your database
If you request support through the software, you can choose whether or not to grant the technician handling your request access to your data.
If you select the option I authorize access to my data, you consent to granting access to your data for a limited period of 5 days by default (this period can be changed). In this case, the technician will access the data in your base in read only and may not modify them under any circumstances.

Authorize the access to your base in modification mode
If your request requires technical work on your database, from the button Assistance, click on Support and services then on Increase the rights to access my data. An authentication code will be generated, giving the technician the read and write rights for your base.

Revoke temporary access
You can revoke access to your data at any time by clicking on the button Assistance: click on Support and services then on Revoke temporary access to my data.

Sending your base to the Index Education support team offers complete assurance regarding the protection of your data.
When you send a copy of your base:
The base sent is encrypted specifically for support purposes. Only Index Education staff authorized to handle support requests will be able to decrypt it. After the number of days you have specified, decryption becomes impossible.
When you grant temporary access to the base while it is in use:
Only Index Education staff authorized to handle support requests may use the temporary authentication credentials you have provided to us.
Once the number of days you have specified has elapsed, these credentials are automatically revoked.
