  • What does “Midday” and “Non working half-day" mean?

Midday

The midday break allows the defining for half-days of work. The tab Half-board allows the management of this break by defining half-board services.

Non working half-days

These correspond to zones where the institution is closed. They are excluded from the system's automatic placement calculations and flagged during manual placement. These half-days are never considered free. You can also specify which days should be ignored when calculating free days.

Example: If Saturday afternoon is a non-working, and you exclude it from the calculation of free days, a teacher who has Saturday morning off will have a half-day off rather than a full day.

A click on a half-day marks it as non-working (cross-hatched).

What is a half-day?

Half-days are divided either by the midday break or by the lunch break. Depending on the situation, the half-day is defined by the beginning, ending or intermediate time of this break.
