  • Define page headers and footers

By default, there are three templates that you can customize. You can also create your own. They can be used when creating document templates and for certain printouts (such as timetables).

Creating a header and footer

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
  2. Click on the creation line, enter a designation, then validate with the key Enter on your keyboard.
  3. Select the type of template:
    • Horizontal banner: apart from the maximum height limited to 3 cm, you can access all other formatting options. It can be used for mail and printing;
    • Vertical banner: the created template can be used as a header or footer. You can change its size, alignment and orientation, and define whether or not it should be framed. It can only be used in mail;
    • Report card header: you cannot intervene in the formatting. Only the content is customizable. It can be used for mail and printouts.
  4. Select the header or footer from the list and customize it in the panel on the right.
  5. If you've chosen the Horizontal banner or Vertical banner templates, you can define the layout (orientation, alignment, size and framing).
  6. Click on the button Insert and select the wanted variables. The information concerning the institution is the same as that entered in the menu Parameters > Institution > Identity.
  7. To display a logo in one of the default templates, first, load it in the menu Parameters > Institution > Logos.
  8. Select the frame Inst_Logo of the template, click on the button Insert, then choose Logo library > [Logo name].

Duplicate a template

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
  2. Select a template from the list.
  3. Right-click and choose Duplicate.

Restore a default template

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
  2. Select a template from the list.
  3. Right-click and choose Restore the original.
