Can I change the number of attempts and the blocking time if the wrong password is entered several times?
If a user enters the wrong password or username several times, access to the database is temporarily suspended. The number of attempts and the blocking time can be set by the administrator.
- Connect to the application PRONOTE Server Administration.
- Go to the panel Security parameters, tab Address management.
- In the rubric Verification level of the non-preferred IP addresses, choose a control level (deactivation is also possible, but not recommended):
- Weak level: 1 minute block after 5 attempts,
- Mid level: 1 minute block after 3 attempts,
- High level: 5-minute block after 3 attempts.
