Send a SMS
To send SMS from EDT, you need to register with Index Education's sales department. If you also have the PRONOTE software, you can register for the service in one go for both programs.
- Once your registration has been validated, connect to the Server EDT and update your license using the command File > Utilities > Automatically register your license.
- In the Client EDT, verify that your institution's RNE is correctly entered in the menu Parameters > Institution > Identity.
- Go to a display with a list of resources, then select recipients.
- Click on the button
in the tool bar: a window Editing and sending of SMS appears. - Select an SMS template from the list on the left and modify it if necessary, or create a new template by clicking on the corresponding command. To insert variables, click on the button Insert.
- Click on Send, or on Save and send if you want to keep the changes made to the SMS template.
The number displayed on the recipient's phone cannot be modified and depends on the operator. If you want users to be able to call back, insert the number in the body of the SMS.
