Convert an institutional account to a personal account
For more flexible management of e-mail accounts, if an institutional account ends up being used by only one user, it can be converted into a personal account. Before doing so, make sure that your institutional account contains only the user for whom the personal account is intended. All other teachers and/or staff members must be deleted.
- Go to the menu Configuration > Configure the sending of e-mail for this workstation.
- Select the concerned institution account.
- Make sure that only one user is assigned to this account.
- Click on the button
in the top-right. - In the confirmation window that appears, click on the button Yes.
- The account Secretariat is then assigned solely to the user MARTIN Pierre.
Convert a personal account into an institutional account
It is also possible to extend access to an existing e-mail address which was assigned to a single person.
- Go to the menu Configuration > Configure the sending of e-mail for this workstation.
- Select the concerned personal account.
- Click on the button in the top-right.
- In the pop-up window, tick I confirm the transformation of the account [xx@xx.xx], then click on the button Yes.
- The account Secretariat can now be used by people other than MARTIN Pierre. Click on Add staff/Add teachers to select the people who can now use this account to send e-mail.
