Update the list of students
The list of students of the display Pre-incoming year > Distribution of the students >
Students and wishes comes from the display Timetable > Students >
List. Enter the additional information necessary for EDT to conduct the automatic distribution of students in classes: provisional ETM, the options and additional information allowing the creation of homogeneous classes (scholastic level, conduct, absenteeism).


Update with the data from SIECLE
- Go to the display Pre-incoming year > Distribution of the students >
Students and wishes.
- After generating you SIECLE files, go to the menu Imports/Exports > SIECLE > Recover the students' provisional data.
- Select the necessary files on your computer (Students, Nomenclatures), then double-click on them to import them.
- Click on Validate: the list of students is updated, their ETM and provisional options are imported.
You can also import the ETM and provisional options by recovering the orientation wishes entered in PRONOTE - particularly recommended method if your institution is a high school: click on the buttonlocated at the top of the columns Provisional ETM or Provisional options/ select the option Recover the data related to the orientations in PRONOTE/ tick the data to be imported/select the orientation data to be recovered (provisional intentions at the beginning of the process, final family choices or final orientation at the end of the process/select the option from another PRONOTE base and click on Yes/select the PRONOTE base (or a copy of the base) containing the orientation wishes/click on Open.
Allocate the levels (scholastic level, conduct, absenteeism)
- Go to the display Pre-incoming year > Distribution of the students >
Students and wishes.
- Click on the button
located at the top right of the column Criteria: a window Definition of criteria levels appears.
- In this window, select for each criterion (Scholastic level, Conduct et Absenteeism) the number of levels (A, B, C, D, E) to apply, then click on Reset the levels.
- Go to the menu Imports/Exports > PRONOTE > Recover the useful information for the distribution of students, select the PRONOTE base and click on Open: the levels are automatically applied.
If you choose to divide the information into five levels, level A is the best fifth (the least absence, the best results and the best behavior).
