What does the file with the same name as the database and the .bak extension correspond to?

The NameOfTheBase.bak file is a copy of the database made automatically before the last save. You can commission a .bak file in the same way as an .edt file. To display the .bak file in Windows File Explorer, select the .bak extension from the drop-down menu.
