Moderating exchanges in a pedagogical forum
If you're the forum moderator, you'll receive a notification to let you know that a new forum has been created, and as soon as a student sends a new post if it needs to be moderated before publication. Depending on the moderation mode decided when the forum was created, the post must be validated manually before appearing in the Students Webspaces, or verified by the moderator after publication.
Moderate before publication
- Go to the display Homework notebook > Pedagogical forums.
Using the mode Moderate before publication, you will receive a notification of new posts needing attention. - In the list on the left, pedagogical forums to be moderated are indicated by an icon
; click on the concerned forum: exchanges appear on the right-hand side of the screen. - Posts to be moderated are displayed as pending moderation: to make the post visible to other participants, click on the button
; to refuse, click on the button

Moderate after publication
- Go to the display Homework notebook > Pedagogical forums.
Using the mode Moderate after publication you won't receive a notification for each new post, so regularly check the forum's evolution. - In the list on the left, the number of unread posts is displayed next to each forum; click on the concerned forum: the exchanges appear on the right of the screen.
- All posts are displayed as published; to remove a post from the forum, click on the button .
