Promoting exchanges in a secure environment
A pedagogical forum encourages exchanges between students on topics defined by their teachers. Teachers also act as moderators.
Promote exchanges between students in a safe environment
The students exchange views on the issues raised and can:
- prepare a group presentation,
- comment on a work of art,
- propose ideas to the eco-delegate,
- extend a small working group…
… under the moderation of the teachers.
PREREQUISITE: the authorization Create pedagogical forums must be ticked in your profile by the administrator and Discussions and forums must be activated in the Student Folders.
Define the framework for exchanges
To initiate a forum, click on the button New in Pedagogical tools > Pedagogical forums. A window appears:
- You can designate participants by class, by group or even by individuals.
- If necessary, other teachers and/or staff can be appointed as moderators.
- It is possible to authorize parents and teaching assistants to read the forums without participating in them.
- You can link the forum to one of your themes to better organize your pedagogical resources.
- You can accept or reject the display of posts before or after publication. Authorizations in Resources > Teachers > Authorization profiles > Homework notebook (Administrator mode).
- To guarantee the right to disconnect, it is possible to limit the publication of posts to certain hours.
