Authorize users to reserve rooms/equipment
Rooms and equipment can only be reserved via PRONOTE if the institution has the right to connect the Client EDT to PRONOTE. Working on a single base is essential for reservation management: updating timetables from a separate EDT base would overwrite reservations made after the date taken into account for data recovery.
Authorize the staff connected in Administrative mode to reserve rooms/equipment
- Go to the menu File > User administration.
- In the list on the left, select the concerned group.
- In the panel on the right, select the tab EDT.
If you do not see the tab EDT, double-click in the column of the concerned group to authorize him/her to use the Client EDT. - In the rubric Daily management and absences, tick the authorization Reserve a room or equipment.
Authorize the staff connected in Student Administration mode to reserve rooms/equipment
- Go to the display Resources > Staff >
Authorization profiles.
- In the list on the left, select the concerned profile.
- In the rubric Reserve a room or equipment, tick Reserve rooms and equipment for the new courses and Reserve rooms and equipment for his/her courses.
Authorize the teachers to reserve rooms/equipment
- Go to the display Resources > Teachers >
Authorization profiles.
- In the list on the left, select the concerned profile.
- In the rubric Reserve a room or equipment, tick Reserve rooms and equipment for the new courses and Reserve rooms and equipment for his/her courses.
