Hosted institutions that have chosen the EDUKA administrative and financial management solution can provide their users with a simple, secure gateway between their PRONOTE Webspace and the platform.

This interconnection enables a PRONOTE-authenticated user (legal guardian, teacher, administrative staff) to access their EDUKA account from the PRONOTE homepage, with a single click and without re-authentication.

This two-step configuration can only be carried out from the account of a user of the type Administration connected to the Administrative Mode.

Step 1: Reconciling identities EDUKA-PRONOTE

For a given institution, the PRONOTE and EDUKA databases work on the same population of individuals, but form two distinct user reference frames. Reconciling identities enables these two reference frames to be "synchronized" by storing in the institution's PRONOTE database the unique EDUKA identifier of each individual common to both bases.
  1. Export from EDUKA the identity reconciliation *.xml file containing users' unique EDUKA identifiers (for more information, contact EDUKA).
  2. In the display Communication > Partners > Partners linked to financial management, select Eduka Suite in the list on the left.



  3. In the panel Interconnection on the right of the screen, click on the button Import the identifiers to import the *.xml file into PRONOTE.



  4. In the panel Reconciliation of the identities, verify the data.

    If necessary, double-click in the column Partner identifier to manually reconcile the PRONOTE user with his EDUKA identifier. PRONOTE may ask you to import the *.xml identity reconciliation file again at this stage.

Step 2: Delegate the authentication to PRONOTE

Delegating authentication to PRONOTE enables users (legal guardians, teachers and/or administrative staff) who have authenticated in PRONOTE to access their EDUKA personal account directly and without re-authentication. As a result, it is no longer necessary to provide EDUKA platform users with access codes.
  1. In the display Communication > Partners > Partners linked to financial management, panel Interconnection, tick Activate the authentication delegation.



  2. Enter the link designation and tooltip. The link will appear in the rubric Useful links of the homepage.
  3. Un-tick any unconcerned users (teachers/guardians/staff).
