Institutions that have chosen the PRONOTE hosted mode can provide their users with a simple, secure gateway between their PRONOTE Webspace and the AGATENET portal. This interconnection enables a user authenticated in PRONOTE (legal guardian, teacher, administrative staff):
  • to access your AGATENET account from the PRONOTE homepage with a single click and without re-authentication;
  • to view their AGATE billing information on the PRONOTE home page, if they so wish.
This three-step configuration can only be performed from the account of a user of type Administration connected in Administrative Mode.

Step 1: Reconciling AGATE-PRONOTE identities

For a given institution, the PRONOTE and AGATE bases work on the same population of individuals, but form two distinct user reference frames. Identity reconciliation allows these two reference frames to be "synchronized" by storing in the PRONOTE database the unique AGATE identifier of each individual common to both databases.
  1. Export from AGATE the identity reconciliation *.xml file containing users' unique AGATE identifiers (for more information, contact ASREC CENTRE).
  2. In the display Communication > Partners > Partners linked to financial management, select AGATENET in the list on the left.



  3. Click on the button Import the identifiers and select the *.xml file.



  4. In the tab Reconciliation of the identities, verify the data displayed.



    If necessary, manually reconcile the PRONOTE user with his AGATE identifier by double-clicking in the column Partner identifier. In some cases, PRONOTE will ask you again to import the *.xml identity reconciliation file.

Step 2: Delegate the authentication to PRONOTE

Delegating authentication to PRONOTE allows you to offer users (legal guardians, teachers and/or administrative staff) who have authenticated in PRONOTE direct access to their AGATENET personal account, without re-authentication. As a result, it is no longer necessary to provide access codes to users of an AGATENET portal.
  1. In the display Communication > Partners > Partners linked to financial management, tab Interconnection, tick Activate the authentication delegation.



  2. If you do not wish to display billing information on the PRONOTE home page, but only allow users to connect to their AGATENET account via a link, enter the title of the link and the tooltip. The link will appear in the rubric Useful links on the home page.
    If you wish to display billing information, leave these fields as they are (they will not be displayed). Access to the account will be made directly from a dedicated widget on the home page.
  3. Un-tick any unconcerned user (teachers/guardians/staff).

Step 3: Activate the recovery of AGATE financial data in PRONOTE

AGATE data retrieval enables you to display billing data for the canteen, cafeteria, etc. (balance, next due dates, warning if balance is negative) directly on the PRONOTE home page.

In the display Communication > Partners > Partners linked to financial management, tab Interconnection, tick Activate the recovery of AGATENET management information.


Data recovery is then:
  • automatic: every morning, PRONOTE recovers AGATE data relating to individuals in a institution.
  • manual: an individual can request an instant refresh of his AGATE data from the widget displayed on his PRONOTE homepage (10 minutes minimum between two requests).
