  • I'm the new Principal. How can I connect to PRONOTE if my predecessor left me no information?

As the Principal, you need to log in for the first time with the SPR profile.
For secure use of PRONOTE, you will then need to create your new superadministrator profile (nominative) to connect on a daily basis.
Sharing SPR rights among multiple superadministrator accounts is more secure than using the SPR account alone, because a superadministrator account, unlike the SPR account, is tied to a specific user.

Step No. 1: Update the hosting administrator

  1. To declare a change of Principal, fill in the modification form for the hosting manager and return to info@index-education.fr.
  2. In return, you receive information and login details for the PRONOTE Hosting console, from which you can administer the SPR account.

Step No. 2: Connect to the console and verify its contact information

  1. Connect to your console and click on the button My account at the top of the screen.
  2. With your connection information, log in to your console, then click on the button My account located at the top right.
  3. Click on the tab My contact information.
  4. In the rubric Person in charge of hosting, verify your contact information. If necessary, make corrections, then click on the button Modify.

Step No. 3: Define your SPR account to log in for the first time to the Client PRONOTE

  1. Go to the tab Password and click either on Receive code by e-mail or Receive code by SMS.

  2. Enter the received code and validate.

  3. You can now enter your Client PRONOTE connection password, then confirm it before clicking the button I validate the new password.

Step No. 4: Create your superadministrator account on the Client PRONOTE

  1. Open the Client PRONOTE and log in as SPR with the password you've created on the console.
  2. Go to the menu File > User administration.
  3. Click on the display  Users.
  4. Select the group Administration in the list on the left.
  5. In the right-hand panel, create your new profile, then double-click in the column Super Admin. to assign yourself the role of superadministrator.

  6. You can now deactivate the SPR account, by double-clicking on the green dot.

  7. When you log in again, you'll be able to use your new username and password.
