Log in to the hosting console
You connect to the hosting console to administer the Server PRONOTE (data in Client) and the Server PRONOTE.net (data in the Internet Webspaces). The console also lets you manage contact details for the hosting manager, archives and safeguards, delegation of authentication to a Digital Workspace DW (ENT), etc. Its use is occasional: between two connections, be sure to keep the username and password associated with it!
Accessing the hosting console for the first time
- From a web browser, go to the page https://www.index-education.com/fr/console-hebergement-pronote.php.
- Click on the button Install the console and follow the instructions of the installation assistant.
- From the workstation where the console is installed, double-click on the shortcut installed on your desktop.
- Enter the hosting number (consisting of 12 digits and sent by email) and the hosting console password (consisting of 14 digits and sent by e-mail), then click on Connect to the hosting console.
- In the next window, enter an invoice number (consisting of 10 digits and sent by e-mail) and click on Install the certificate.
Note
You will only be asked for the invoice number when you log in for the first time from your workstation. - A window will confirm the installation of the certificate. Click on the button Connect to the hosting console.
- The console configuration page will then appear in a tab in your browser. Once connected to the console, you will be asked to enter your first and last name and create a username and password: these identifiers are those of the database's first superadministrator and allow you to log in to the Client PRONOTE.
Connecting to the hosting console during the year
- Connect to the Client PRONOTE with your superadministrator profile.
- Go to the menu Hosting > Access the hosting console...
- In the pop-up window, enter the hosting number and password for the hosting console; the security code is not required.
- Click on Connect to the hosting console: the console opens in your browser.
