How I entry absences/tardiness for internships?
Indicate on the timetables that students are in an internship
- Go to the display Internships > Internship sessions > List.
- Select the concerned internship session, then click in the column EDT: a class absence is automatically created for the internship period.
Authorize the entry of absences for the days of internships
To configure the entry of absences and tardiness for students in internships, go to the menu Parameters > ABSENCES AND ROLL CALLS > Options. In the rubric Administrative management of absences and tardiness, tick Authorize the entry of absences for the days of internships.
Indicate the schedule of the internship
Modify the schedules
- Go to the display Internships > Trainees > List.
- Select a class/group and the internship session from the drop-down menu.
- Double-click on the name of the student whose schedule you want to modify.
- In the tab Times, activate internship half-days and internship times.
- Double-click on a time to modify it; if the student does not have courses on certain half-days, deactivate them by double-clicking on the green tick.
Indicate that students are expected to attend classes on half-days when they are not in an internship
By ticking the box Student is expected in the courses in the half-days when he/she are not at the company, absences can be entered both as an internship absence and in the standard way, with a breakdown of hours lost by subject as for the rest of the year.
Enter an internship absence
Absences from internships are entered in the same way as regular absences, from the display Absences > Entry > 
Absence and tardiness grid.
The number of hours of absence entered during the internship period is shown in the display Internships > Trainees >
List, column Absences (in hours) and takes into account the internship times defined in advance.
