Extract data
In PRONOTE, to perform a "data extraction" is to display in the list only the data on which you are working on. Data extraction is a valuable aid for the readability of lists and makes it easier to handle them.
- From your list, select the data to extract.
- Then launch the command of the menu Extract > Extract the selection, or use the shortcut Ctrl + X.
- At the very bottom left of the list, a counter shows you the number of lines displayed and the total number of lines that this list contains. Don't worry, no data has disappeared!
- Conduct the wanted actions on this list, reduced to the strict necessary.
- To redisplay the entire list, launch the command Extract > Extract all or use the shortcut Ctrl + T.
Note
You can also extract data based on other criteria. To do this, go to the menu Extract > Other extractions. Depending on the display you are on, it allows you to speed up certain manipulations.
Examples:- from certain displays of the tab Resources > Teachers: Extract the teachers without a photo, Extract the unused teachers.
- from certain displays of the tab Resources > Students: Extract the students without a class, Extract the students without a guardian, Extract the students whose guardians do not have the same address, Extract the students without a photo, ...
- etc.
