Define the headers and footers
There are three default templates that you can customize. You can also create additional ones. They can be used when drafting templates and for some types of printing (such as timetables).
Create a header and footer
- Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
- Click on the creation line, enter a title, then validate by pressing the key Enter on your keyboard.
- Select the type of template:
- Horizontal banner: apart from the maximum height limited to 3 cm, you can access all other formatting options. It can be used in letters and printouts;
- Vertical banner: the template created can be used as a header or footer. You can change its size, alignment, orientation, and choose whether or not to add a border. It can only be used in letters;
- Report card header: you cannot change the formatting. Only the content can be customized. It can be used in letters and printouts.
- Select the header or footer from the list and customize it in the right panel.
- If you have chosen the Horizontal Banner or Vertical Banner templates, you can define the layout (orientation, alignment, size, and border).
- Click on the button Insert and select the wanted variables. The information about the institution is the information entered in the menu Parameters > Institution > Identity.
- To display a logo in one of the default templates, first upload it from the menu Parameters > Institution > Logos.
- Select the frame Etab_Logo of the template, click the button Insert, then choose Logo library > [Logo name].
Duplicate a template
- Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
- Select a template from the list.
- Right-click and choose Duplicate.
Restore a default template
- Go to the menu Parameters > Institution > Headers/Footers.
- Select a template from the list.
- Right-click and choose Restore the original.
