Configure user identification (hosted mode)
If you delegate authentication to an DW, you need to determine how users are recognized in PRONOTE on first connection.
- Connect to the hosting console from the shortcut on your desktop, or via the command Hosting > Access the hosting console.
- In the panel Server PRONOTE, verify that the base is in active.
- In the panel PRONOTE.net, verify that the base is not published.
- In the same panel PRONOTE.net, go to the tab Delegate the authentication and click on the button
in CAS protocol: a window appears.
- Click on the button Users' identification parameters: a window appears.
- Choose the type of user recognition from the drop-down menu:
- With the identity of the user: these are the fields exchanged between CAS and PRONOTE that will identify the user logging in for the first time. These fields must be designated by CAS. The same applies to the categories.
- With the PRONOTE identifier of the user: in this case, enter the CAS attribute containing the PRONOTE identifier. To recover PRONOTE identifiers for the DW (ENT), then connect to the Client and launch the command Imports/Exports > DW platform > Export the PRONOTE usernames.
- By double authentication: users must enter their PRONOTE username and password to establish recognition on their first connection.
- With the CAS identifier already specified in PRONOTE: the administrator must import all users' CAS identifiers into PRONOTE so that they can connect to PRONOTE via CAS.
- Click on Validate.
