  • How does a MCQ work in PRONOTE?

Teachers use MCQ to help students memorize a course, raise their awareness of a subject or assess their knowledge and competence. They create or customize them from the Client PRONOTE or from their Teachers Webspace. Students access them from their Webspace (online or mobile app).

To edit a MCQ, a teacher can:
  • create a MCQ from scratch;
  • create a collaborative MCQ with other teachers in the institution;
  • compose a MCQ by combining questions from different MCQ;
  • recover a MCQ from your institution's library and customize it;
  • download an MCQ from the PRONOTE library on our website and customize it.

A teacher or staff member can offer a MCQ to students in a number of ways, depending on whether it's for an exercise or an evaluation: if it's given as test, the MCQ is graded and counts towards the average; if it's given via the homework notebook, the MCQ can either be associated with the content of the notebook (to enable students to practice at will) or associated with a new competence evaluation (in this case, the grade is given as an indication does not count towards the average).
