Support Support PRONOTE
  • We haven't chosen PRONOTE hosted mode. How do I manage archives from previous years?

In non-hosted mode, you recover last year's PRONOTE data in a incoming year preparation file, generated at the end of the previous academic year.

If you forgot to generate the incoming year preparation file at the end of the year, temporarily put your old database into service to generate the file. The database for the current year will be temporarily inaccessible to users: perform the operation at a time when PRONOTE is not frequently used.

Generate the incoming year preparation file at the end of the year

  1. Go to the menu File > Prepare the following year.
  2. Select the folder in which you want to save the incoming year preparation file and click on Save: PRONOTE generates a file NomDeLaBase_PreparerLAnneeSuivante.zip.

Import data from the incoming year preparation file.

  1. Go to the menu Imports/Exports > PRONOTE > Recover the data from a PRONOTE base.
  2. Select the *.zip file generated earlier and tick the items you want to recover.
Recovering users from Administrative mode is a separate operation. To recover them, go to the menu File > User administration, then click on the button Recover the users at the bottom left of the window.
