Make a document available on the Parents Webspace
The digital locker allows you to make PRONOTE mail and document templates available to families (such as Scholastic enrollment certificates, SCSS (ASSN) certificates, discharges, etc.), as well as any other files from your computer or cloud.
Provide a document template (generated in PRONOTE)
- Go to the display Communication > Digital locker >
Documents in the digital locker. - In the left-hand menu, in the rubric Distribution, select Guardians and Students.
- Click on Distribute a document from the templates, then select a model from the list that is displayed.
- The document is added to the list - by default, all students or parents are recipients of the document; to modify the list of recipients, double-click in the column Recipients then select them either by name or by a combination of criteria.
Documents allocated to guardians cannot be allocated to students; conversely, you can add guardians as recipients when allocating a document to students: double-click in the column Downloadable by > Guardians then tick the wanted option. - Modify the document's publication dates by double-clicking in the two columns Publication dates.
- Send a notification to recipients to let them know the document has been made available: configure the content of the information by clicking on the icon
then double-click in the column Notif.
Make available a document saved on your computer or in the cloud
- Go to the display Communication > Digital locker >
Documents in the digital locker. - In the left-hand menu, in the rubric Distribution, select Guardians and Students.
- Click on Deposit a document, the select From a local file if the document is saved on your computer, or From my Cloud if it is saved on one of the proposed clouds: Digiposte, Dropbox, Google Drive or One Drive.
Access to the above-mentioned clouds is only available to institutions hosted by Index Education. - Select the file to be imported: in the window Attachment optimization, click on the button Attach the document.
- Assign a category to the document, then click on Validate: the document is imported into the list.
- Double-click in the column Recipients, tick the names of the concerned guardians, then click on Validate: the document is instantly put online; if you wish to limit access to the document to a given period, specify an end date in the column Publication dates > From/To.
- To verify that the shared document has been viewed, double-click in the column % Read.
