Participate in parent representative elections as a voter
This year, parent representative elections will be held electronically directly in PRONOTE. You will be able to elect your representatives by logging into your Parents Webspace from a web browser and/or from your mobile app.
Key points to remember
- Electronic voting in PRONOTE is highly secure: your ballot is anonymous and your personal data is protected from start to finish.
- Elections are held no later than the end of October. The school principal determines the dates of the election. These dates are communicated to you several days (or even weeks) before the start of the elections on the home page of your Parents Webspace, in a widget entitled Parent Elections. Keep an eye on your PRONOTE account so you don't miss it!
- As soon as the Parent Elections widget appears, you can log in to the election platform and view the lists and manifestos of the candidates. If dual authentication has been activated by the school principal, you must also verify your personal information and correct it if necessary, before the elections begin. On election day, this information will be used to send you a security code by e-mail or text message: if your details are not corrected in time, you may be unable to vote.
- After voting, you can download a proof of deposit in PDF format. This allows you to check at any time that your ballot has been placed in the ballot box. The proof of deposit must be downloaded immediately after voting: if you leave the page without downloading it, you will not be able to recover it later.
Prerequisites
At the beginning of the school year: verify that you have access to PRONOTE.
If you need to update your password, do so as soon as possible and make sure you remember your new passwords and PIN codes. You must log in to PRONOTE (Parents Webspace on a web browser or mobile app) in order to participate in the electronic elections.
A few days (or weeks) before the elections open: verify that your name appears on the electoral lists displayed in the institution.
If you have not been included on the electoral lists, contact the school principal as soon as possible to inform them. If your name is not added to these lists before the elections begin, you will not be able to participate in the elections.
Step 1: Log in to the election platform for the first time
- Log in to your PRONOTE account via a web browser or your mobile app, then click on the button Access to the election platform of the widget Parent elections.
- If requested, verify your contact information.
- Please note the opening and closing dates and times of the voting office: you will not be able to participate in the elections outside of this period. You can also view the election manifestos as soon as you log in to the platform for the first time—these will remain accessible throughout the election period.
Step 2: Place your ballot in the ballot box.
- Log in to PRONOTE and click on the button Access to the election platform of the widget Parent elections.
- If you are asked to do so, authenticate yourself by receiving an authentication code by e-mail or text message.
- Click on the button Participate, then select the list of your choice—you can access the manifestos again by clicking on the blue link. Then click on the button Next to continue.
- For security reasons, enter the date of birth of one of your children enrolled in the institution, then click on the button I vote.
- Download your sign-off and proof of deposit by clicking on the buttons Download and Save. Caution, the proof of deposit can no longer be downloaded afterwards. Then click on Disconnection.
Step 3: Consult the results
- Log in to PRONOTE and click on the button Access to the election platform of the widget Parent elections.
- The results are displayed in terms of number of votes and percentage; the final results in terms of number of seats will be communicated to you at a later date by the Principal.
