Electronic signature, step 5: Track the signatures and finalize the process by the Principal
From the Client, the Principal follows the evolution of signatures. When the Principal (or his representative) notices that all the other protagonists have signed the document, as the last signatory, he/she can then finalize the process.
Track the status of signatures
- Once the document has been sent to the signatories, go to the display Communication > Mail and documents >
History of dispatches.

Follow-up of electronic signatures on internship agreements. - From the left-hand menu, select Electronic signature.
- On the list of sent documents, a green tick mark appears when the person has signed the document. The symbol
means on the contrary that the document is not yet signed. - As long as all the mandatory signatories have not signed, the column Document status indicates Pending signature.
Finalize the document
- Go to the display Communication > Mail and documents >
History of dispatches. - From the left-hand menu, select Electronic signature.
- The mention To be finalized in the column Document status means that all the signatures have been completed. The Principal can therefore in turn sign the document.
- Select the ready document(s).
- Click on the button Finalize the documents. You are redirected to the signing platform.
- From your browser, in the tab that appears, click on the Start.
- Tick the document(s) to sign, then click on the button Sign (X).
The Principal does not need to sign each document separately. He/she can sign in bulk, which is a significant time saver. - In the window Summary, tick I have read the document(s) and I accept without reservation the conditions, then click on the button Continue.
- After having added your signature, click on the button Sign which then becomes accessible.
- Click on the button Quit.
- A window confirms the end of the process.
- On the tracking displays, as soon as the Principal has signed, his name and first name are indicated in the corresponding column and the column Document status then displays the mention Archived.
