Verify the list of services for each class
A service corresponds to a subject taught by a teacher for a given public (class or group).
By default, PRONOTE creates and activates services corresponding to courses recovered from EDT when the base is initialized: you will find all services per class or teacher in the display Resources > Classes/Teachers>
Services - if you create or modify courses after initialization, remember to create the corresponding service manually.
Services are essential for entering grades and evaluations, and determine the organization of the report cards: make sure you verify them before teachers start grading.

Services are essential for entering grades and evaluations, and determine the organization of the report cards: make sure you verify them before teachers start grading.
- Go to the display Resources > Classes >
Services per class.
- In the drop-down menu, select All the services and tick the box Display the inactive services.
- For each teacher, verify that all the necessary services are active: they must appear in the list and be preceded by a green dot (if some services are shaded, double-click on the dot to activate them).
Without active service for a given class or group, teachers cannot evaluate the students. - Verify that unnecessary services are deactivated (if necessary, deactivate the service by double-clicking on the green dot).
Unnecessary services are defined here as all services that should not be used for student evaluations and/or those that should not appear on the report card. - Verify that the allocated evaluation mode is correct.
- Verify that the division of services corresponds to the information to appear on future report cards (knowing that each active service results in a line on the report card, and that sub-services can be displayed or hidden as desired for each subject):
- create sub-services to distinguish grades and calculate several averages for the same service (for example, oral and written in FL2, history and geography in history-geography).
- attach group services to whole-class services, if the teacher sees students in groups but wishes to calculate an average for all students, with a single line on the report card.
If teachers start entering grades and evaluations in the services activated by default, and these do not reflect the wanted layout for the report card, you will need to correct the services and transfer the tests at the end of the term. - create sub-services to distinguish grades and calculate several averages for the same service (for example, oral and written in FL2, history and geography in history-geography).
