Edit the motives for incidents, punishments and sanctions

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > DISCIPLINE > Motives.
  2. Classify the list of motives by type: double-click in the column Type of incident; in the pop-up window, select the type of incident to be allocated.
  3. If certain incidents/punishments/sanctions are to give rise to the automatic creation of a follow-up in the Student Administration folder, tick the boxes Author and/or Victim of the corresponding motives.
  4. Ifi certain incidents/punishments/sanctions are to be published immediately in the Liaison notebook, tick the boxes Publish of the corresponding motives.
  5. If necessary, add additional motives by clicking on New.




    If you tick the boxes Author, Victim and/or the box Publish

    for a certain motive, incidents related to this motive will be published on the Webspaces as soon as the protagonists are added to the incident report. If you wish to have time to reflect on this report before informing the families, un-tick the boxes Author, Victim, and Publish. If necessary, you can create duplicate motives with different configurations



Edit the list of possible punishments

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > DISCIPLINE > Punishments.
  2. Double-click in the column Template to designate mail to be sent to the guardians; if you are subscribed to the SMS dispatching service, also select the SMS template to be associated.
  3. Double-click in the column AR if the punishment published on the Parents Webspace requires an acknowledgement of receipt.
  4. Double-click in the column Delay for publication to defer publication of the punishment on the Parents Webspace (by default, the punishment is published immediately).
  5. In the column Duration, specify default duration of punishment Detention.
  6. If necessary, add additional punishments by clicking on New; depending on the type of punishment, it will have more or less rubrics (column P to enter a scheduling, column Duration to enter a default duration) - only the type Miscellaneous authorizes all types of configurations.




Edit the list of possible sanctions

  1. Go to the menu Parameters > DISCIPLINE > Sanctions.
  2. Double-click in the column Template to designate mail to be sent to the guardians; if you are subscribed to the SMS dispatching service, also select the SMS template to be associated.
  3. If necessary, add additional sanctions by clicking on New; 
  4. if the sanction involves exclusion of the student, double-click in column S (this will allow you to enter a duration for the suspension).



Designate the decision-makers for sanctions

  1. Go to the display Resources > Staff > List.
  2. Double-click in the column Decision maker for sanctions; if this is not visible, add it.



Configure the authorizations linked to disciplinary measures


Authorizations related to disciplinary measures can be configured:


Configure the display of disciplinary measures on Internet Webspaces and the mobile application

Configurations relating to disciplinary measures in the Teachers and Student Administration Webspaces are made when configuring authorizations (see above).

For the other Webspaces, go to the module Internet Webspace:

  • Internet Webspaces > Parents > Parameters of the Parents Webspace
  • Internet Webspaces > Students > Parameters of the Students Webspace
  • Internet Webspaces > Teaching Assistants > Parameters of the Students Webspace
  • Internet Webspaces > Company >Parameters of the Company Webspace



Configure the mail related to disciplinary measures

The mail and documents related to disciplinary measures can be configured in the display Communication > Mail and documents > Templates.




Configure the display of disciplinary measures on the report card

  1. The display of punishments/sanctions on the report card is configured:
    • for the report card: in the display Report cards > Templates > Specification.
    • for the competence bulletins : in the display Competencies > Bulletins > Configuration of the mock-ups.
  2. Select the concerned mock-up, then click on the tab Footer.
  3. In the rubric Student Administration, tick the boxes Punishments and/or Sanctions.
