Distribute the report cards to the families
Publishing the report cards in PRONOTE
- Go to the display Report cards > Distribution >
Publication of the report cards.
- Tick the Webspaces on which you wish to publish newsletters.
- By default, report cards are published at the end of each period. To change dates quickly:
- if you have already defined dates for publication of the periodic assessment, tick the option Synchronize the defined dates with those of the publication of the periodic competence assessment to automatically recover the dates;
- Otherwise, the quickest way is to multi-select (while keeping pressed the key Ctrl on the keyboard) using the pencil button at top right.
- if you have already defined dates for publication of the periodic assessment, tick the option Synchronize the defined dates with those of the publication of the periodic competence assessment to automatically recover the dates;
- In the column AR, tick the classes for which you expect an acknowledgement of receipt.
Send the report cards by e-mail
To send the report cards by e-mail, the guardians must have agreed to receive e-mails, and internship counselors must be designated as e-mail recipients (Internships > Internship counselors >
List column D. E-mail).

- Go to the display Report cards > Distribution >

- Select a class from the list on the left - do not select a student if you wish to apply the same configuration to all.
By default, PRONOTE displays all services on the report cards, whether or not the student has been graded. In the right-hand panel, you can choose to display only services and/or sub-services meeting certain criteria. If the configuration applies to all classes, you can multi-select. - Click on the button
in the toolbar.
- In the pop-up window, select E-mail as Type of output.
- Tick the wanted options and use the tabs to configure the layout.
- Click on Print/E-mail. In the pop-up window, PRONOTE offers you the option of printing a copy for recipients who don't have an e-mail address.
Send the report cards by post
Standard dispatch
- Go to the display Report cards > Distribution >

- Select a period from the drop-down menu on the right.
By default, PRONOTE prints all services, whether the student is graded or not. In the right-hand panel, you can choose to print all services or only those meeting certain criteria. - Click on the button Print the report cards.
- In the pop-up window, select the student report cards to be printed, and tick any other documents to be printed at the same time.
- Choose Printer as Type of output.
- Tick the wanted options:
- frame Choice of the recipients: by ticking Copy for the institution, you can issue a copy of the report card for the students' schools of origin;
- frame Print for the other periods: by default, PRONOTE prints the report cards for the current period; you can print others;
- frame Classes to take into account: allows you to select the report cards to be printed for students who have changed class during the year.
- Navigate the various tabs to configure the layout.
To fit the report cards onto a single page, tick Height adapted to the appraisals and program elements in the tab Presentation, adjust the font size in the tab Font, and on the size of margins in the tab Page.
For a more airy layout, un-tick Print all the borders in the tab Presentation: only horizontal borders will be retained.
For double-sided printing, don't forget to tick the box A document per resource, so you don't end up with data from two different students on the same sheet. - Verify the result by clicking on Preview, then click on Print.
Delegate the dispatching to Maileva
Maileva's paperless mailing service enables authorized users to send mail in just two clicks. The mail is forwarded to La Poste, which takes care of printing, enveloping, franking and delivery. Mail tracking is done from within the software.
- Click on the button
or on the button Print the report cards of the display Report cards > Distribution >

- Specify the data to be printed and the recipients.
- In the mailing window, select the type of output Maileva.
- Select the type of postage from the drop-down menu.
The selected default postage can be specified in the menu Parameters > COMMUNICATION > Mail/SMS/Messaging service. - Indicate whether you opt for black & white and/or double-sided printing.
- Click on the button Preview to verify the data before sending.
Only letters with an envelope address can be sent with Maileva. - In the preview window, at the bottom right, click on the button Send.
